When it comes to aesthetic upgrades to your home, lighting is at the top of my list. Not only does the light fixture itself have a major impact on the space, so does the light it gives off. I recently gave some of the builder-grade lighting in our townhouse a mini update, and let me tell you, never have I ever been so confident in my own advice.

I replaced our bathroom vanity and hallway light, and after six years of living here, we finally installed a chandelier at the top of our rooftop patio stairs.
